Bellybomb is an ally of Krang and Slash in the Archie Comics. He is an alien with horrible-smelling breath. He appeared in a three-part story in the 23rd, 24th, and 25th issues of the comic, where he meets Krang and Slash on the toxic waste planet Morbus. According to the people who drop him off Morbus, Bellybomb is being banished to Morbus to serve seventeen life sentences for extortion, armed robbery, man-eating, brain poaching, soul thievery, and impersonating a deity named Bob. Bellybomb adds that his jailers neglected to mention his unpaid parking tickets.
After Slash kills the guards, Bellybomb escapes with Slash and Krang in their ship. The autopilot, however, sends them to an Eden World where Bebop and Rocksteady are residing. Bebop and Rocksteady both decide to join the trio of villains because the two mutants have become bored of their peaceful residence due to the planet's lack of crime.
Once the five villains return to Earth, Bellybomb grafts Krang to the Shredder's body while the Turtles have their hands full with Bebop, Rocksteady, and Slash. In the battle, the Turtles manage to remove Krang from Shredder, freeing him from the alien brain's influence. In the end, Slash flees the scene and Bebop and Rocksteady return to their new home on the Eden-World, but not before sending Krang and Bellybomb back to Morbus, where they belong.
