Al'Falqa with the Black Stone
The Black Stone is a non-fictional rock of religious significance to Islam. The stone is set into the east corner of the Kaaba, the holiest shrine in Islam which is located in Mecca. Some Islamic traditions describe it as having originally been a meteorite. During the hajj, visiting Muslims ritually simulate kissing the stone, as Muhammad is believed to have once done; this is a symbolic act, however, as Muslims are strictly forbidden from touching it.
In the Archie continuity story The Black Stone, a fictionalized version of the stone is stolen by the Shredder and Verminator X, while the Turtles, Splinter and Ninjara must assist Al'Falqa in fixing it back. Using her thief skills, Ninjara manages to replace the real rock with a fake one. The Shredder and Verminator X, unknowingly of this, escape to the future through a time portal with the fake rock.
