(The page opens with Casey Jones engaged in a fist fight with a bald man while others fight all around them. They are inside a room surrounded by the accoutrements of a card game - cards, beer, booze, and smokes.) [New York, New York, Lower East Side] [A few of the local socialites discuss politics.] Casey Jones "Kill!" Bald Man "Kill!" Both "Grahhhhh!" |

(They continue to beat each other, both being as brutal as possible. Casey falls down and breaks a bottle with his head. The bald man stomps on his face. Casey kicks him in the head in retaliation.) |

(Casey connects with several punches until the bald man catches his hand and then pushes him back. The bald man winds up and delivers a hard body punch. He gets Casey on the ground and then grips him by the shoulders.) |

[Nearby, a lone figure's panic breaks the silence.] (The person is running along the sidewalk, drawing close to the building where Casey is engaged in battle.) Midnight "...I...I think I lost him." Midnight "For the moment any way--" (Inside the room, the bald man lifts Casey bodily over his head.) Bald Man "Flight control you have takeoff clearance--heh!" Midnight "Just one more block and I can--" (The bald man throws Casey out of the window.) Bald Man "Bye, bye now--heh" (Casey falls and lands on Midnight.) Midnight "Yaaahhh!" |

(Midnight kicks and punches Casey.) Midnight "Jerk, butthead, creep, piece of--" Casey "Unghh..." Midnight "Watch...what the hell..." Casey "Owww!" Midnight "...you're doing!" Casey "Oh great..." (Casey looks up to see the bald man standing over him.) Bald Man "Back for a bit more fun Mr. Jones...heh?" Casey "No one calls me mister...pal!" (He comes off the sidewalk and drives into the bald man, knocking him back into the building. Above them, men hang out of the windows as the fight continues.) Casey "Gahhhhh!" |

Midnight "You're all a bunch of ass--" (A car comes barreling around the corner, bullets flying.) Sskreee Midnight "...Oh shit--Johnny!" Driver "There she is!" (The car occupants are all shooting at Midnight. She jumps, rolls, and runs, dodging around a corner to get away. The car slides as the driver brakes and then it comes to a quick stop.) Skree Clunk |

Midnight "This is gonna get messy... real messy..." Midnight "...Like before in..." (Men with rifles and machine guns get out of the car. The story switches to a flashback of Midnight's backstory.) [Hong Kong] Johnny Woo Woo "It's time Midnight-- it's time." (Midnight is behind the wheel of a getaway car. Johnny and his men climb out.) Johnny "You know the score Midnight-- back in a second." (Johnny and his men ready their weapons.) |

(Johnny and his gang approach a restaurant.) Johnny "It's clear." Johnny "Go!" (One of the men kicks in the door.) Gangman "Yahhhh!" (They open fire on the people inside, killing them. Outside, Midnight sees armed men wearing tactical gear climbing out of the back of a truck.) Midnight "Oh God...set up!" Johnny "Watch the left!" Gangman "Got it!" |

(The gang continues firing. People die bloody left and right.) Gangman "Shakkur's in the back." Johnny "Cover me!" Midnight "This is gonna get messy." Midnight "Gotta take the heat off Johnny for a minute..." (She gets out of the car and aims her gun.) Midnight "--Then figure out what to do!" |

(Midnight fires on the armed men, managing to hit them in places not covered by armor.) Armed Man "Loot out...the driver!!" Armed Man "Cut her down... Ahhh!" (Midnight runs outs of ammo.) Midnight "Ut..Oh...!" (She starts running as they open fire, blasting holes in her car.) Midnight "Move legs, move!" (The car explodes. BOOOOOM Midnight "Christ..." (She reloads and darts out of hiding, shooting as she runs.) Midnight "Johnny's gonna be pissed!" |

(Inside the building, Johnny shoots the lock off a door marked 'Private'. He bursts into the office and shoots the bodyguard coming at him.) Bodyguard "Yargggg!" Johnny "It's over Shakkur...Johnny Woo Woo never misses a hit!" (He shoots through the back of the chair. The chair spins around and Johnny sees that it is occupied by a dummy wearing a sign that reads 'Screw You!') Johnny "Set up!" Johnny "Shit!!" (Men start coming at him. Bullets are flying.) Johnny "Midnight!" Johnny "It's a trap boys--- Get out of here!" Johnny "Go, go, go!" Johnny "Midnight will get us out of here!" |

(The armed men corner Johnny and his remaining men.) Armed Man "Freeze Woo Woo-- we've got you cold!" Midnight "Run, Johnny-- I'll cover you!!" (She comes out from behind cover and fires. A bullet hits her.) Midnight "Aaahhh!" Johnny "Nnoooooooooo" (Midnight falls and is unmoving.) Johnny "Midnight!" Armed Man "Cut 'em down boys!" (One by one Johnny's gang members are hit.) Gang "Ahhhh!" Johnny "They ain't taking us alive-- follow me!" Gang "Ughh Arrrr Ungh" (Finally, Johnny is the last one standing. |

(Johnny is running and alone.) Johnny "...Midnight..." (The flashback ends. Back to present. Midnight is still hiding in shadows. Midnight "I know you never miss a hit Johnny--" Johnny "Midnight--" Johnny "I know you're in there-- come out or I'm coming in-- I've got a job to do!" Midnight "-- But I ain't gonna make it easy!" (Midnight runs into the building where the crowd is still fighting.) Casey "Arrrrrr" Bald Man "Errrrrr" Casey "Ungh!" Midnight "I'm out the back!" (She's looking back and doesn't see the bald man. Midnight runs into him. Midnight "Oof" Bald Man "Hey!" Bald Man "Stupid chick!" SLAP (The slap knocks Midnight down and bloodies her lip.) Midnight "First class mistake knob end!" |

(Midnight proceeds to kick the bald man's butt.) THOKK GNUFF CUMPF SNAP FAPP (She puts the bald man down and out.) Casey "Whoa-- KO'd him! Nice going babe!" Casey "Hey--I'm Casey Jones-- and you are--?" Midnight "Outta my way jerk-off!" (Johnny Woo Woo enters the building and fires a shot into the air. His armed gang stand with him.) BLAM! Johnny "Midnight!!" |

Johnny "Time to stop this foolishness Midnight-- you'll never reach santuary-- I've got to kill you for what you did!" Casey "Guns-- It figures-- I hate guns! Who is this butt-hole, anyway?!" Midnight "Damn it all to hell Johnny-- you know I didn't betray the family--you know this is wrong--time to face facts." Midnight "Mr. Jones, if there is a back way out of here, show it to me--" Midnight "--Now!!" |

(Casey grabs her arm and pulls her along with him.) Casey "This way--!!" Gangman "Kill 'em!!" (The gang starts shooting indiscriminately, not caring who they hit as they try to kill Midnight. Casey and Midnight race for the back exit.) |

(Casey and Midnight fling themselves through the door.) Casey "Eeyowww!!" Midnight "Yahhhhh!" (They hit the alley, slamming into garbage bins.) Midnight "Ungh!" Casey "Oofffittt!" Midnight "Quick, quick-- which way, now!" Casey "Aw man-- my brain hurts." KA-CHAKK Johnny "Enough of this bullshit Midnight-- goodbye!" Casey "Jesus lady-- what kind of trouble are you in?!" |

(Casey and Midnight are cornered by Johnny and some of his gang. All are pointing automatic weapons at the pair.) Midnight "Johnny wait!" Johnny "Look--a lot of innocents just bought it-- not that I care-- for that bright move Midnight-- it ends now" Midnight "Ya-- I know how this stuff keeps you up all night, you ever think I'm one of those victims?!" Johnny "It doesn't matter what I think anymore-- I've got orders-- I disobey I die-- it's me or you!" Casey "Look meathead-- why don't you drop that puppy and let's rumble-- mano el mano!" Johnny "No time for fun and games chisleneck-- places to go things to do-- bye now!" Johnny "Come on dudes-- I want to be back in Hong Kong for dinner tomorrow-- take 'em out." |
