Captain Deadbolt was a member of the Justice Force in the Mirage Comics. He was mentioned to have the ability to lock his body into immovability in any position, and became locked in such a state during a John Travolta look-alike contest in 1977. The captain never recovered and is later seen still in the same pose, residing in Zippy Lad's house. It is never revealed whether Captain Deadbolt is somehow alive after all of those years due to his unique physiology, but it is unlikely.
