"Cockroach Terminator" is the eighteenth episode of the 2012 TV series. It first aired on March 15, 2013.

While Leo, Mikey, and Raph are eating instant ramen in the kitchen, a cockroach crawls around on the table. First it goes Leo, then Mikey, but when it goes on Raph, he panics. Raph grabs his sai and tries to kill the cockroach, until Donnie comes and stops him. He explains that this roach is special because he fitted it with a spy camera so it can go into TCRI and spy on the Kraang. He plays the recording the roach got from where Raph gets scared so Mikey does it again just to annoy Raph and get a good laugh. Donnie brags that they are going to spy on an advanced inter-dimensional alien race- with just using a simple cockroach.The turtles are in the Shellraiser watching the roach spy on the Kraang until two kraang are talking. They zoom in to hear that they are going to drill a hole in the Earth, and they need to steal a diamond lens for it. When the roach falls into a vat of mutagen,the signal is lost. The Turtles so it destroys Kraang and then breaks outside spotting the Shellraiser.Meanwhile inside the Shellraiser, Donnie has a blurry vision of where the lenses are. Just as they start to drive away, they run over something. The Turtles get out to see what they hit, and Donnie quickly recognizes it as a mutated version of his spy-roach intrigued by the discovery of organic and mechanical matter fuse ooze. Just when Mikey starts to tease Raph the spy-roach rises and grabs Donnie but sees Raph and goes after him. Leo, Donnie, and Mikey all attack but the spy-roach is strong enough to keep walking. Raph tries to hit the roach with manhole covers but misses until he actually hits spy-roach with one. The nanosecond he sees the roach twitch, he freaks out and starts shooting a dozen more until Leo calms him down and he throws one more and they discover that they have to stop the Kraang so they get in the machine and Raph sees that the roach has disappeared, so they leave. Meanwhile the Kraang just finds the lense earlier than excpected so, then they use their van to knock the Kraang's van over so then the human disguised Kraang come out and a fight breaks until spy-roach jumps in resurrected and he just easily takes out the Kraang and Raph hides behind the van while Leo looks for him. While that happens, the Kraang get the lens. Spy-roach finds him and Mikey and Donnie arrive to fight it so Mikey uses bug spray to take him down and it gets weakened until Mikey runs out of the spray and spy-roach comes back alive before it gets hit by a truck and carries him away, so then the driver gets off and the truck explodes in a garage door, then the turtles leave. Before the cops come, the spy-roach walks out alive. Meanwhile, in the ShellRaiser, Leo scolds Raph for his cowardice. The roach is in the sewers looking for the van with the homing signal Donnie installed in the camera. The guys find out that the reason Raph is Chong's target is because earlier that night, he tried to kill him. The roach saws its way inside. Outside while Donnie is fixing the ShellRaiser, Leo uses Raph as bait to get to the villain. The guys run off, but Leo and Mikey get beat up, leaving Raph to fend for himself. In an alley, Raph pleads for mercy. A mysterious voice tells him to be good to Mikey and let him read Raph's comics once in a while. Raph turns around and sees that the roach is Mikey, which of course makes Raph angry. Leo joins them, and they discover that Spy-roach has molted. Now it's even bigger and scarier, and is able to fly.The turtles drive to the Kraang facility, when Mikey gets taken by the roach. Raph goes after spy-roach with the Stealth Bike. As Raph is chased, the other turtles try to get in the facility but get the van stuck in the closing doors as well. Raph motorcycles into the facility. Raph battles the roach and "drills" the roach until it explodes into a pile of goo on the side walk, and at the same time destroys the drill. However, as the Turtles leave, a new embryo forms on the ground.In the lair, Raph brags about how he has conquered his fear of roaches. Mikey tests that by saying that he slipped one in his shell. This freaks Raph out and sends him running all around the place with his brothers laughing at him, ending the episode.

Donatello: "Yeah-ah! Wa-yoo! So where the diamonds?"

Raphael: "Uhh...."

Leonardo: "Raph lost it! Raph, where were you?"

Raphael: "I was busy!"

Leonardo: "Busy cowering in terror! We gotta find the drill before the Kraang cracks open Manhattan like an egg!"

Raphael: "I already got it thanks, are there any more surprises?" (Chong drills into the Shellraiser)"He has a saw?! The cockroach has a saw!"(Leonardo cuts the saw from Chong's grip)

Leonardo: "Not anymore! Donnie, the rest of us will keep the roach busy."

Raphael: "We will?"(Leonardo grabs Raph)

Leonardo: "Yes! (to Donnie)"You gotta fix the shellraiser fast!"(they start leaving the Shellraiser)"Like yesterday fast!" (Leonardo drags Rapheal outside, and he's sitting and cowering) "Hey Spy-Roach, Raph's out here! Come and get him!"

Raphael: "Really? Your using me as bait?"

Leonardo: "Yep."

(Raphael is on his knees, looking at the wall, presuming Chong is behind him)

Raphael: "I'm sorry I tried to smash you ok? I'm sorry! I learned a very important lesson, I'll never be cruel again,just leave me alone!"

Michelangelo: (in different voice) "On one condition..."

Raphael: "Ahh!!!Anything!!!"

Michelangelo: (in different voice) "Be good to Michelangelo!"

Raphael: "Ahh!!!What?"

Michelangelo: (in different voice) "Let him read your comics once in a while!" (Raphael turns around)

Raphael: "MIKEY!!!!" (kicks him in the shell and tries to grab him, but Leonardo stands in the way)

Michelangelo: "Ow!!!So much for learning your lesson!"

(Chong puts his arm in Shellraiser and grabs Michelangelo)

Michelangelo: "Ahh!!!!!"

Donatello: "He's got Mikey!"

Leonardo: "We gotta do something!"

Raphael: "I'll stop him."

Leonardo: "You don't have to do this just to prove your not afraid."

Raphael: "I am afraid. And that's why I have to do it."(he opens a lower door)"I'm coming Mikey! No 6-foot tallcockroach is gonna eat my brother!"

Leonardo: "Well Raph, you faced your fear and saved the city. Not bad for a Wednesday."

Raphael: "Faced my fear? I conquered my fear!"(grabs Michelangelo)"I looked my fear in the eye, and I zapped itto oblivion!"(drops Mikey and he gets back up)

Michelangelo: "So your not afraid of cockroaches anymore?"

Raphael: "Nope."

Michelangelo: "Good, good. Then you won't mind the one I just slipped into your shell."(Raph is shocked and starts panicking)

•  This episode features  the debut of Donatello's pet cockroach Chong, a character that was shown at conventions in multiple mutated forms. .
  • Although the roach was called "Chong" at conventions, it is never called by this name in the episode. Instead it is simply called "Spy-Roach".
• This is the fifth episode in this series where April does not make an appearance.
• This is the first episode in this series where Splinter does not make an appearance.
• A new vehicle is introduced; the Ninja Stealth Bike.  
• The Kraang human disguises are seen again.
• The ShellRaiser appears fully functional again. How Donatello managed to get it operational after losing the Kraang power cell is unknown.
• The episode title as well as mutated Spy-Roach itself are references to The Terminator franchise as well as the series of cyborgs portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
• This is the second episode to focus on Raph with the first one being Turtle Temper.
