The Earth Mystic is one of the five Foot Mystics who each controls a classic element: Metal, Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind Mystic.
Unlike his other mystical brothers he is much larger out of all of them. He along with his mystic brothers originally served Oroku Saki, the Tengu Shredder. After his master's defeat he and the other mystics were forced to serve the Utrom Shredder, Ch'rell
History[]
After the Tengu Shredder was defeated by the Ninja Tribunal and locked away in a special built coffin. The Earth Mystic and his brothers were later put under control by an amulet known as the Heart of Tengu, the amulet was later stolen by Ch'rell, an Utrom criminal who stole the name of the Shredder to take control of the Foot Clan and take over Japan.
The Earth Mystic and his brothers were placed in special armor which limited their true power. The five mystics hated serving Ch'rell the Utrom alien who took the name of the Shredder after taking control of the Foot Clan. Although he and his brothers despised Ch'rell the Utrom did have respect for them. When the Utrom Shredder was defeated by the Ninja Turtles and exiled by the Utroms to a faraway ice asteroid, Ch'rell's adopted human daughter Karai Saki took command of the Foot Clan and badly abused the Mystics.
Karai tells them that as long as she had the Heart of Tengu, their powers were her to command. But it did not take long after their mistreatment at the hands of Karai that they became more determined to free themselves and after tricking John Bishop, and the TMNT by proxy, into stealing the artifact, the Mystics themselves allowed the TMNT to pass into the new Foot Tower. The Mystics broke free of the Utrom Shredder's grip when Baxter Stockman destroyed the artifact and began to attempt to resurrect the true Demon Shredder. When freed the Mystics were able to revert back to their true forms and were shown to be far more powerful then previously shown. They then return to Japan, defeat the Ninja Tribunal and resurrect the one true Shredder, despite their fanatical devotion to the Demon Shredder, they were still abused by him for so much as saying anything he felt was out of line. The Earth Mystic is eventually killed in "Enter the Dragons, Part 1" by Adam McKay.
Powers[]
The Earth Mystic is larger and more muscular than the other Mystics. He can create sand that blinds or overwhelms enemies, hurl large boulders, and tunnel underground.
