History[]

2003 Series[]

The Wind Mystic, along with the other mystics served the Tengu Shredder in 4th century Japan AD. After his master's defeat by the Ninja Tribunal, the Tribunal created an amulet known as the Heart of Tengu which could be used to control their power but also limiting their true power.

Ch'rell the evil Utrom alien criminal would later take control of the amulet and the Mystics when he took up the name of the Shredder. Ch'rell would control them, although the Wind Mystic's and his brothers despised serving Ch'rell, they did appreciate the respect he gave them.

When the Utrom Shredder was defeated by the Ninja Turtles and exiled by the Utroms to a faraway ice asteroid, Ch'rell's adopted human daughter Karai took command of the Foot Clan and badly abused the Mystics.

Karai tells them that as long as she had the Heart of Tengu, their powers were her to command. It did not take long after their mistreatment at the hands of Karai that they became more determined to free themselves and after tricking John Bishop, and the TMNT by proxy, into stealing the artifact, the Mystics themselves allowed the TMNT to pass into the new Foot Tower. The Mystics broke free of Karai's grip when Baxter Stockman destroyed the artifact and they began to attempt to resurrect the true Demon Shredder. When freed the Mystics were able to revert back to their true forms and were shown to be far more powerful then previously shown. They then return to Japan, defeat the Ninja Tribunal and resurrect the one true Shredder, despite their fanatical devotion to the Tengu Shredder, they were still abused by him for so much as saying anything he felt was out of line. The Wind Mystic is eventually killed in "Enter the Dragons, Part 1" by Faraji Ngala.

Powers[]

The Wind Mystic is the most flexible. He can conjure powerful wind currents such as tornadoes and can dodge many attacks. Although all of the Mystic Ninjas can fly, the Wind Ninja is the fastest while in the air.
