Hachiko is the Shredder's pet Akita Inu in the 2012 TV series. After Hachiko bites Chris Bradford, the latter is doused with mutagen, turning him into Dogpound.
Hachiko is named after an Akita Inu , who was known for his loyalty towards his deceased owner.
