Louvre as seen in Tower of Power
The Louvre is an art museum in Paris, France, opened in 1793. It occupies most of an older former royal palace of the same name. Inside the museum are many artworks by the European Renaissance artists who Splinter named the Turtles for.
The Turtles visit the museum in the 1987 TV series episodes "Tower of Power" and "Rust Never Sleeps". In "Rust Never Sleeps", they fight a man who tries to destroy artworks.[1]
