"New Friend, Old Enemy" is the fourth episode of the animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 TV series). It premiered on October 13, 2012.

Plot Synopsis Edit

The episode opens with Chris Bradford training with ninjas in a room. When done, another henchman named Xever opens the door, revealing The Shredder. Shredder then tells Chris that Splinter is still alive training his own ninjas, and forces Chris to hunt them down. Bradford assures his master that he will not fail. Despite Bradford and Xever's rivalry, they must work together to hunt down the turtles.

The scene then shifts to the Turtles jumping across the rooftops challenging each other on who can do the best flips. Raph is the last one and instead jumps and tackles his brothers down. After getting up the group hears a noise and quickly draw their weapons out, only to find a cat. Raph then teases Leo. Mikey quickly grows fond of the cat after hearing it's owner call it's name. Mikey decides to return it to him despite his brothers disapproval he goes down and is yelled at by the man and then assaulted by the cat, falling down the latter. After a brief discussion about Mikey wanting to be friends with Chris,  they are quickly ambushed by the Foot troops and while the heroes manage to hold their own at first they are soon attacked by a masked man, who unbeknownst to them, is Chris Bradford. Himself in his armor gains the upper hand in the fight. After that the police arrive and both escape before being spotted.

Leo discusses the fight with Master Splinter how the battle was not a fair fight, but Splinter attacks him and tells him he should seek victory not fairness in a fight. Meanwhile, the Turtles are hanging out with April in the lair while Mikey reads a magazine about Bradford, until April at first tries to convince him he already has a human friend: her. But Mikey, putting in the fact that they saved her life, claims she has to like them. Raph then says that it's to bad there isn't a place where "freaks" can meet each other. April then gets an idea and asks to see Donnie's computer.

She then shows Mikey a site where people can meet and become friends online so they wouldn't have to see each other in person. Mikey then makes Bradford his first friend and goes off to meet him. The turtles let him learn a lesson with Raph stating " dude's gotta learn somehow one way or another."

Mikey surprises Bradford who attacks him, but once Mikey explains himself, Bradford asks him to come inside later. While the turtles investigate how The Foot attacked them, Mikey continues to brag about his friendship with Bradford and continues to tease Raph that he was wrong (spelling it "rong") until after all 3 turtles get tired of hearing him. Mikey goes off to meet Chris again. After surprising Bradford again, he tries to get Mikey to reveal all his secrets, in order to find Splinter's location. Bradford unwillingly teaches Mikey a professional move, "The Death Dragon", who Mikey teaches to his brothers, revealing Bradford's true identity, when Splinter recognizes a seemingly familiar move during a sparring match between Leo and Raph. They quickly learn that their brother is in trouble.

Meanwhile Mikey arrives at Bradford's house and is attacked once again by Chris and Xever, and while he tries to fight them off he is eventually overwhelmed. Mikey then asks who he is and at first thinks it's the man with the cat. Bradford quickly removes his helmet, revealing his face, leaving Mikey shocked.

Leo, Raph, and Donnie arrive and are successful in saving their little brother. They then return to the sewer and are followed by Bradford and Xever along with many Foot troops. The Turtles pick off all the Foot and then face off against Bradford and Xever who they defeat by flushing down the drain. After that the Turtles celebrate with a slice of pizza, but Splinter is weary and tells them the struggle has only begun. Meanwhile Raph cheers up Mikey saying he is an awesome guy and tells him he deserves way better friends. Mikey, encouraged by his words quickly un-friends Chris Bradford and smiles with revenge.

• the protagonist of this episode is the Michelangelo
• Chris Bradford's Foot Clan uniform looks very similar to The Shredder's costume from the Mirage Comics sans the trident blades on the helmet, right down to the red coloring. Bradford also bears a striking resemblance to Chuck Norris.
• The friending site which April showed Mikey is called "My Face, so-so social" - which is most likely a pun towards Facebook by both name and overall layout and MySpace.
• The other tabs Mikey was browsing through as seen during his conversation with Raph were:
