In the one hour and half movie Turtles Forever, the Turtles fought the Shredder and Krang inside the Technodrome, where Donnie tried to send the weapon back to the Dimension X. However, the blasters of the Foot Soldiers affected the console, sending everyone to the 2003 Turtles universe in consequence. The team, thinking that they're still in their New York City, fought the Purple Dragons, failing and ending up as Hun's prisoners until eventually they were rescued by their 2003 counterparts. After some problems to understand their situation, the classic Turtles team-up with the 2003 Turtles to go back to their own dimension and stop the returned Utrom Shredder from destroy the entire Turtleverse.

2012 TV series[]

In the 2012 series the Classic Turtles have a particular time displacement with the 2012 Turtles dimension.

In chronological order, their interactions start with "Trans-Dimensional Turtles", where the 80s Ninja Turtles discover offscreen that their Krang has allied with the rest of his species army (which had been trying to conquer the 2012 universe) and now they was attempting to eliminate both worlds. To prevent this, Donatello uses his new Portal Projector to bring the 2012 Ninja Turtles (during their Space Mission). After some misunderstandings, the eight Turtles team-up and stop the Krangs from eliminate the Turtleverse, ending with the Classic Krang being back to their 2D dimension, the Kraang Subprime trapped in the Mirage Universe and the 2012 Turtles thanking for the help and returning to their mission.

After that adventure, the Turtles back home to eat some pizza, but the're interrupted by a giant Kraathatrogon (from a portal that a past version of 2012 Donatello sent by accident to them). The Ninja Turtles left the pizza and jumped to the action, but just then, Tiger Claw emerged of the alien's bowels. The team sensed that the mutant hadn't good intentions and fought him. However, the team were defeated while Tiger Claw escaped to the Dimension X (offscreen)

The Classic Turtles would team up with the 2012 counterparts in the "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" special. This time, the Turtles track Shredder and Krang in the underground until they just find Bebop and Rocksteady instead. Menaced, the pair explain them that their bosses decided go to the 2012 Dimension. The Turtles use again the Portal Projector to return to the Dimension 7, just to be ambushed by the most competent 2012 Bebop and Rocksteady (now working for the 80s Shredder and Krang) and being taken as prisoners o the Technodrome.

Fortunately, their counterparts find out about their situation and set them free and go to the Lair. To prevent that they be kidnapped again, the 80s Turtles are trained by the 2012 Turtles to prevent that something like their kidnapping happen again. This leads Leonardo and their team to adapt to this most violent world, using their training to keep up with the 2012 Dimension treats.

After teaming up with the 2012 Foot Clan (which in this dimension are reformed) and the Mighty Mutanimals, they fight against Traag and Granitor (their evil versions of the 2012 World) along their rock-soldiers army (brought by Shredder and Krang). The four groups were almost defeated, until an intervention of the remorsed Bebop and Rocksteady to help them in battle. Both Donatellos destroy the rock giants and the ex-villains do the same to the Technodrome.

With Shredder and Krang imprisoned, the Classic Ninja Turtles say goodbye for last time to their 2012 counterparts. After retuning home, they find their own Bebop and Rocksteady's versions set free and prepared to be defeated again. Instead, after met the other "them" as heroes, the Turtles encourages them to be whatever they want, as long it doesn't be evil.
