Overmind was an evil A.I. program which wanted to destroy all organic creatures and take full control over all the remaining mechanical life forms.

History

  • The Outlaw Armaggon! - Overmind used to be the artificial intelligence program responsible for managing a self repairing and fully functional VX3 Warbot space station factory, but as it became self-conscious, Overmind turned against the ones it served. As Overmind took full control over the space station and begun to disintegrate the crew members, but the remaining crew, trying to stop Overmind from controlling all mechanical life forms in the galaxy, wrecked the station's engines and shut the whole station down, so Overmind would be forever confined to the depths of space. Unfortunately, Professor Honeycutt re-activated Overmind and so the robot revolution had re-initiated.

Trivia

    • Overmind's motivation and final look are similar to those of MCP from "Tron", V.I.K.I. from "I, Robot" and Skynet from the "Terminator" franchise
    • Overmind's attempts to turn the main characters into robots mirror the Borg and Cybermen from Star Trek and Doctor Who, respectively.
  • Overmind's face icon also resembles the Autobot symbol from the Transformers franchise.
