Scatterpillars are a group of sentient large biolectrical spheres from Dimension X.
They first appeared in "Into Dimension X" where they attack the Turtles until they finally manage to outrun them.
They appear to be very moody and very territorial creatures.
They were only named in the 8th episode of season 4.
