The Sons of Silence are a group of extraterrestrials appearing in the Archie TMNT Adventures comics.
History[]
They first appear in White Light, where they save Bebop and Rocksteady, who have been buried in the sewers for several days. It is later revealed that the Sons of Silence have fallen under Krang's control and per his orders, have taken over the Turtle's minds. [1]
In The Lost World, the Sons of Silence spirit away an unconscious Cherubae, despite the fact that Krang gave no orders for them to do so.
The Sons of Silence appear in the Black Hole Trilogy and kidnap Donatello. Through their telepathic guidance, he takes hold of the Turnstone and it in turn, begins to corrupt his mind. Sarnath arrives just in time and manages to wrest the Turnstone from Donatello's grasp. With it's power, he is able to return Don to his family and then turns to the Sons of Silence, telling them he now understands their plan. They needed Donatello because he was easy to control. He spoils their plan by collapsing the Dimension X black hole. He then tells the Sons of Silence he understands the damage they wrought was not their intent, but that this is not their place. He uses the Turnstone's power to send them away.
