Stanley Stobbs was a newspaper reporter who wrote several articles on the crime in New York City. As this threatened Shredder's plans, he ordered Bebop and Rocksteady to pour Mutagen into his favorite restaurant's water supply.
At the same restaurant where Stobbs was ordering his favorite dish, lobster, the Turtles and Ray Fillet were getting pizza. Stobbs drank water whilst holding a lobster and mutated into a giant anthropomorphic version of the crustacean. Going berserk, Stobbs ran about to free the restaurant's lobsters from their tank. Ray and the Turtles try to stop Stobbs, but he is too large and strong for them to corral him. Ray ends the fight by reasoning with the lobster mutant and offering to show him the sea.
