Of Head-Canons and Bias[]

Guys, guys. I'm tacking this on the talk sections of every single one of the turtle's pages so people can see it: I really don't think you should be putting information on the page that you cannot cite, nor should you be putting your opinions on them. I've edited several lines people put in here to remove biases and head-canons, and I'm not even sure if I've gotten rid of them all.  8(

For example, the brief clinical mental illness diagnostics that have recently been posted. As long as you can cite it and prove that it is valid information, it's fine. Where did you hear that Michelangelo had ADHD? Where is it ever stated that Leonardo has OCD, or that Donatello has aspergers? As long as you can give us a credible souce (such as the official site of TMNT or from one of the writers or directors of the current form of media), it'll be all good. But if you're only going off what you yourself have speculated, don't post it; wikias are for giving people facts.

In addition, as I mentioned above, please keep your opinions out of the articles as well. There is no "best" character. We're here to inform people about the Ninja turtle franchise, not preach our beliefs.

Thank you all very much,

Rayne

Guys, none of those disorders were even known about when the comics were written. Also, cartoon characters typically do not have diagnosises (gosh I hope that's at least close to spelled right). They're already mutated, do they need mental disorders too?!

Fan theories should be taken somewhere else. And don't try to say "But I think it's official" like most people defending their fan-couples do, because that just makes you look like you can't seperate fan-theories and fan content form official information.

...and as someone with aspergers, I can say Donatello most likely does not have asperger's at all. Being geeky doesn't mean you have aspergers, and having asperger's doesn't mean you are geeky. Heck, I knew a jock with aspergers. His geekyness is not enough to prove he has asperger's and he does not have any of the other symptoms.

While we're at it, PLEASE don't put pages about fan fictions on the wiki, either. It just makes the wiki (and you) look stupid when you do, and confuses people.

Trust me, I've seen wiki's where some moron decided to put fan-fiction pages up...it's freaking awful, confusing, and makes it look like the wiki was desperate for content.

Note About Fanbases[]

Guys, please refrain from insulting character fanbases in the articles. It makes the wiki look unprofessional and unreliable. I have edited it out and will continue to do so if it is added again. Please keep the information in the article about Raphael, and not his fans.

Thank you,

Although I like him too....the only physical difference between him and the others is his mask color...

His personality I can understand finding hot, but his physical appearance is almost exactly the same as the other turtles.  Just sayin' PyroGothNerd (talk) 18:39, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

snapping turtle[]

Am I the only one who thinks he should be a snapping turtle? Snapping turtles are aggressive (like Raph). In some of the media they are not officially blood related, so it could work. Plus, snapping turtles have cool looking shells, sometimes.
