Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a kids activity magazine of the TMNT franchise and a spin-off of the 2012 animated series published in several European countries by the Italian publishing house Panini Comics.

Production history and plot overview

Similar to the classic Archie Comics Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is a consistent marketing project to the successful broadcasting of the TV series, which fills an additional niche in the open magazine market. Although the series closely follows the plot of the 2012 television series, in regard to the evolution of the characters, it is little more than a collection of supplementary, not essential to the series side material.

The comics that appear in the official Panini Comics Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles magazine are intended exclusively for the European market. The first magazine was published in May 2013 in England. In addition to the comics, trivia information about characters and events from the series, as well as puzzles, a section for fan drawings and removable posters are located in the booklets.

This series is not to be confused with the comic magazine New Animated Adventures, a purely American comic book series, whose plot is independent of this comic series.
