Tmnt cereal
At the height of their popularity, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had a variety of food tie-ins.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal: Sweetened Rice Chex (called "Ninja Nets") with TMNT themed marshmallows. The cereal had lots of different gimmicks including a contest to win every TMNT action figure, mini-comics, and "Turtle Bowls." The cereal was re-released as a Spider-Man cereal years later, with the nets representing webs and different marshmallows. Canada's cereal was different. It was more-or-less Fruit Loops shaped like the Turtles' head.
  • Chief Boyardee TMNT Pasta: Pasta shaped like the Turtles' in canned tomato sauce. A different pose represents each turtle. Shredder was later added.
  • Ninja Turtle Cookies: Made by the Delicious company, the cookies were shaped like the Turtles, their allies, and their enemies. They came in a variety of flavors. The larger boxes came without cut-out figures while the smaller boxes were shaped like the Turtle Van and the Turtle Blimp.
  • Fruit Snacks: The pieces were shaped like the Turtles' and their enemies. These proved unpopular due to their poor taste.
  • Pizza Crunchabungas: A pizza-flavored corn snack shaped like pizza. The commercial featured the claymation of Will Vinton, the man behind the California Raisins.
  • Ellio's Ninja Turtles Microwave Pizza: The logical jump to make, the Turtles' were simply on the packaging.
  • Ninja Turtles Popsicles: They were cherry flavored and had gum ball eyes. They were extremely popular and were still being sold as late as 2004 to tie in with the new series.
  • Hostess Ninja Turtles Pudding Pies: Covered with a green frosting, the pie itself was filled with vanilla pudding. The wrappers featured different turtles. The first run came with a sticker, and later, trading cards to tie in with the second film. Alternate versions of the pie had the filling green with a regular colored crust.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Cheese Pasta Dinner: Produced by Primera Foods, it's more or less macaroni and cheese with Ninja Turtle shaped pasta.
  • Royal OOZE Gelatin Desserts: Renamed Jell-O with the Turtles' on the package. It also came with several recipes, including the Royal Ooze Drink.
  • Royal Ooze Drink: On of the recipes that was printed in on the package of Royal Ooze Gelatin. It can be made with any Jell-O. Using one package, bring 3/4th of a copy of water to a boil. Next, pour in the gelatin and stir it, making sure there are no lumps. Once you're done stirring, turn it off the heat and add seven ice cubes. Though not part of the official recipe, adding corn starch thickens it to a more ooze-like consistency.
