The Lost Episodes, or Ninja Tribunal Season, is the fifth season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003).

PlotEdit

The forces of evil attempt to bring back the True Shredder. This season focused on a new threat presented by another version of the Shredder said to be the original legendary villain Oroku Saki from feudal Japan. The Turtles were then asked by the Ninja Tribunal (a group of warriors who seek to combat this ancient, "Demon" Shredder) to train alongside several human warriors to become strong enough to battle the Shredder. This involved the Turtles gaining new weapons, learning how to channel their chi into powerful projectiles, and finding their inner animal spirit. This season marked the end of the use of the original character designs and format.

Development Edit

This was original going to be the fifth season, continuing the storyline from Season 4. It was shelved in favor of the Fast Forward. Selected episodes of the Lost Season began airing on 4Kids' on demand channels on August 9, 2006, but have since disappeared. The episodes began airing on the 4KidsTV on February 9, 2008.^[1]
