Everyone remembers Krang from the 80's show don't they? Well what do you guys think of the reincarnations in the 2012 show? I personally find them to be pretty good villains and I always get a chuckle out of how they talk in their redundant manner. Only thing that kinda stinks is that they're like the battle droids of TMNT. Always being cuts to pieces but then who would they have the turtles fight, using their weapons to slice and dice? What're your opinions on this new take of Krang?
I remember 80's Krang as well as the Utroms from the comics and 2003 series.
Pity that they dont talk when they're out of their robot bodies. They screech and squeal as they crawl away on their six tentacles. I like laser saw weapons. Their eyes are closed when they're in their exosuits. More mutagen from their dimension could mean more mutants. Can't wait for Traag (also from the 80s show) and Kraang Prime.
Not only are Kraang droids like battle droids from Star Wars but the robot Foot Soldiers from the 80s-90s cartoon, classic video games and Archie comics. Expendible and easily destroyed. Just like in those versions, Kraang are also from Dimension X.
Foot vs. Kraang vs. Turtles can be seen in the episode called "Baxter's Gambit". Shredder, Karai, Fishface, Dogpound, Baxter, Purple Dragons and Foot Ninjas are all learning about Kraang and their technology.
I am okay with the Kraang, and I kind of like how they are always talking to each other like "Wrong. Kraang has retrieved the Power Cell. In Kraang's face" or "Krang has been on the diet known as 'Gluten-Free'. Kraang has lost 37 Kraang units of wieght". Okay is that just me or does conversation between Kraang droids sound funnier on TV rather than written? Anyway, I can understand that Kraang Droids are like the Ninja Turtle version of Battle droids, always getting knocked down, not-so-bright. But maybe the directors of the series wante it to be this way, so that both Ninja Turtle fans and Star Wars fans and TMNT/SW hybrid fans (like me) would understand how they are alike and different. So again, I am okay with the Kraang. By the way, does anyone else notice that the voice of the Kraang, Nolan North, played Raphael in the 2007 CGI movie, TMNT? Tell me if you do.
