  • If you have thoughts on Lone Rat and Cubs, write it here.

    My thoughts:

Leo tells his brothers, April, Casey, Karai and the Mutanimals a story about how him, his brothers and Splinter were mutated.

    • My guess to Lone Rat & Cubs: The turtles find a mysterious portal, Donatello warns the other turtles that could be dangerous. But Raphael is not afraid and jumps into the portal. The others are jumping, of course, but when they get out of the portal they see themselves in childhood with Splinter.....

    • Maybe this is a "Tales from the Past" episode

    • It talks about the brothers' past.

    • I'm guessing the episode will be released on May 14th, 21st, 28th, or early June.

    • Splinter comes back...for GOOD? Pretty please...with the cheese-phone on top (because its a lot of cheese)! But of course these guys are total um...idiots...when it comes to Splinter so I bet to them its like, "Who the...heck...is Splinter? Whoever he is can't be that important since he's not one of the turtles." Look out April and Casey! You guys are next, it was nice knowing you but since you guys aren't the turtles you guys'll be forgotten too (at least by the writers)!

    • Hopefully they actually show the whole thing on how it began, and not some cheesy rushed episode like the previous one - For an example, Splinter moving away from his current home, going to New York and adopting 4 baby turtles, sees a Kraang member bump into him and then the whole adventure begins.

It's just a flashback of Hamato Yoshi/Splinter being transformed from human to rat and raising Leo, Raph, Donnie & Mikey.

I don't know which I want more. If they have him stay dead...I hate to say it with all my heart...but I kind of wish they'd stop shoving it into our faces and almost brag, "Haha he's dead! Did you know that? Huh huh did ya huh (quoting Dory (I think) since this calls for something like this)?! Well he is! MWAHAHAHA!" And again, I hate saying this...but whenever they show him in the past or as a ghost, it just reminds us that he's officially dead and is never coming back. I've heard some people say that this next series is a continuation of this. It'll be awesome to still have Shini and this version of Karai...but...no good old, loving, perfect, Master Splinter... :'(( <- extreme sadness. Yes...I know I'm going crazy...I'm fully aware.

    • The episode was pretty good. Seeing Splinter again was nice and seeing how it began. Splinter trying to survive and protecting the baby turtles was a lot for him especially since he was on the run from the Kraang. The final battle in the sewer was sweet, but I noticed something when he was taking out the Kraang... I rewinded and paused it and holy cow!!! They showed a kraang cut in half when the two halves of the kraangdroid fell onto the floor.

I will be highly surprised if the new TMNT series will be a continuation of this show and even if it is, Nick is going for a more light hearted version that will cause a train wreck in character development between the two shows (despite the fact that this train wreck has already started with season 3 so it is just making the pile up bigger). I think it’s a whole new approach with the upcoming series. Only a sneak peek at a comic con or tv promo would get us an idea what the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be like.

    • Do we have ANY information about the new TMNT series coming out? I can't find anything on it!

(Besides the fact it will be...2D?)

    • And plus, I'm LOVING the more violent side of the series. I just thought for the longest time that TMNT was pathetic in it's violence. Take TMNT 2003 for example, Leo brings up his swords and two steaks slash a black screen...And a robot falls over. Annnnddd it was like that EVERY time. Always robots, Always luminous slashes.

The violence just makes things  more....Real. (In my opinion.)

Agreed. That's why I'm worried about the next reboot 0-0

It was time. Each season, overall at least, just wasn’t better than the previous one.

Plus many of the hiatuses in between episodes began to drive some of us nuts. I still remember the 112 day span between ELS and City ar War (probably the longest of them all), not to mention how it took nearly a year and a half for that whole season to air as well as the fact that South Korea finished airing the season two months before we did. As far as I’m concerned, the whole thing’s inexcusable and I’m hoping beyond hope that we don’t get too many of those again.
