  • What do you guys think what if the Shredder becomes a mutant in season 4

      Loading editor
    • OMHAGOSH are they going to turn him inot a mutant!!! that would be soo awesome but horrible for the turtles

        Loading editor

    • Super Shredder is already gonna show up in the sequel to the new movie and I really hope he appears in the show.

        Loading editor
    • I think if they were to mutate him they would use super shredder, because mutating him into a mutant would be weird.

        Loading editor
    • That would be very interesting but I would hope that the mutation would be a handicap to him instead of help him and so the turtles would be able to take him down easier.

        Loading editor
    • Shredder is already awesome sans mutation. I know it might happen, but dont you think we have enough mutants?

        Loading editor
    • Normally, I'm all like "enough mutants already!", but I feel that a mutant Shredder is just a must for this series

        Loading editor
    • I am always glad for more mutants, but if they DO upgrade Shredder to Super Shredder, I hope it'll be like "Turtles in Time" Super Shredder where he became a ki-blast shooting mutant warlock, rather than "Secret of the Ooze" where he gets crushed by a FLIPPIN' pier. Lame.

        Loading editor
    • At least if they make him a mutant, cut back on the number if mutant enemies.

    • that would be awesome for us, but it would be the turtle's nightmare though...

Yeah but no one watches this show for the turtles, so who cares about them lol... We all want to see what Shredder is gonna do next, he's so whacky!

        Loading editor
    • I don't want him to become a full mutant or anything- like anything really obvious (my friends want him to mutate into a worm for some reason...) Just like a super Shredder like most of you guys said: extra strength, speed, just not turning him into an animal or anything...

    • What about the mutant Shredder from the comic? He was like a hammerhead shark + a bunch of other sea creatures - made for one intense looking mutant.

Yeah, it sure looks good in the promo. I can't believe it's next week, and at the weekend! Least it'll be after all of my maths tests (which counts towards my end of KS3 result- so no pressure). So, it'll be a... relaxer...

I wounder if the turtles are still going to be grounded in the next episode, because in the last episode, 'The Noxious Avenger', at the end, Splinter said they were still grounded for being caught on camera.

Hun's mutant form was my favourite thing about Turtles Forever! If they can't turn Shred-Head into a mutant turtle then they should at least have Hun become one instead.

I disagree. Any version of TMNT should have at least as many human characters as anthropomorphs. It maintains perspective and character balance. ...Of course, the 2012 TV series no longer pretends to have perspective or character balance. XD But consider Mirage TMNT, Image TMNT and IDW TMNT—they all have well-sized cast of regular and recurring human characters in addition to plenty of anthropomorphic characters, and I think those series have been better for it.

        Loading editor
    • This makes Casey, Kurtzman, Bernie, Hun, the Purple Dragons, Don Vizioso and his Henchmen the only human characters left without going mutant (besides future people like Lord Simultaneous and Renet).

And I believe Hun and Don Vizioso won't stay human for much longer, as both have a lot of potential to become giant turtles and friends with Bradford (winks at the audience).

I think Kung fu frogz was being facetious.

More mutants means more merchandising potential, that's true.

However, making human adversaries into mutants is almost a necessity because human characters can't be expected to keep up.  How many times have Casey and April been sidelined in the past couple of seasons, even after April has been in the possession of psychic powers and been confirmed to be a mutant? Shredder already has pushed the limits of believability, especially after he manhandled Leatherhead.

Besides, Shredder getting mutated is not only karmic retribution (if unwanted on his part) for him purposely creating and controlling mutants but also is a physical representation as to the monster he has become.

        Loading editor
    • Shredder is scary because he is an overpowered human. If he was a mutant it would just take away from his threatening aurora.

But we still have another season to go. Besides, by the time that season comes about Shredder will have summoned that what's-his-name demon voiced by Mark Hamill.
