  • So we know the mutagen dumped by the Mrs. O'Neil is going to make the Punk Frogs, as wee saw them sitting on the canister, and we have pics and confirmation of them appearing. But...remember. We saw her dump some. What if it was into a creek or something. Could this single canister be making: The Punk Frogs, The Dream Beavers, and Mondo Gecko? At least 9 mutants? From 1 canister of mutagen?

What are your guys's thoughts? What do you think about it? What other mutatants do you think might come from it?

    • It has been confirmed that Muckman and Eyeball Joe will appear so it likely mutated them too. Also, I would like to point out it has never been said that someone or something needed a full canister of mutation to mutate, circumstances just made it so that's what happened. However, many of the new animal mutants, despite being changed, still appear very similar to their original forms. Could this be a side effect of the mutation being spread out so far?

    • yeah the show shown that even a tiny amount can cause a massive mutation in something the size of a human (Pizza Face anyone? btw, what chef finds a glowing canister of ooze off the ground in an alley, and thinks it would be a good idea to not only cook it into a pizza, but also eat it? DBZ Abridged Nappa would be calling this guy stupid.) And as for the animal mutants, I think the show suggested that the newer batches have been perfected to the point where a creature that doesn't come in contact with something may just more humanlike by default (such as the Creeper, who had no DNA source to be mutated by)...idk, the properties of the mutagen change almost every 4 episode.

    • But if you watched closely, you'd see that "Mrs. O'Neil" didn't get any in (at least that I saw): Mikey pulled her arm back, narrowly averting a mutation crisis. If a drop was shown making it to the river and I just didn't see it, I apologize, but it looked to me like it didn't.

    • I think the next episode of TMNT 2012 shall introduce the Punk Frogs and Napoleon Bonafrog

    • As to mutagen in water, I guess it would depend on dilution, the makeup of the local aquifer, and if the subject consumed it injected it, or was immersed in it.  I mean, It seems the villains use excessive amounts of the stuff, perhaps for drama's sake... Rat King wasn't even touched, technically, by mutagen, but hit by an electric current run through a small sample, and became some sort of telepathic undead horror. Creeper was mutated by mutagen derivative-laced vomit containing traces of food..I shudder to think what would happen if that gunk fell into a toilet or a septic tank.

    • I'm pretty sure the one wearing the helmet is Genghis

    • I wanna see Mondo Gecko. Mondo should be awesome. He should know 'Kung Fu', or actually Jeet Kun Do, but say "I know Kung Fu." And he should shred all over Shredder, not fighting, but simply dodging, distracting, and skateboarding all over Saki's armor, while the Turtles end up wiping the floor with the rest of the Foot Clan and Krang Forces.

Better than doing the "French people are snooty jerks" steriotype.

Also Napoleon Bonafrog was really good here. Having him be like Napoleon Dynamite, I think, really gave him a personality that really helped him bond with Mikey.

    • Yes, although he looked more like a lizard than a frog to me. Maybe they combined parts of his character design/personality with Mondo Gecko's ....?

So--is that a piece of stool or a mudpie on his head?
