Titanus is the leader of H.A.V.O.C. and a notable enemy of the Turtles. He appeared in Season Eight of the 1987 TV series, in the three-episode arc: "Cry H.A.V.O.C.!", "H.A.V.O.C. in the Streets!", and "Enter: Krakus".

Titanus originates in the year 2066, where he was a mutant warlord who attempted to conquer the world with his mutant army. At some point he was defeated, which caused him to travel back to the late twentieth century in order to conquer that time instead, preventing the future in which he had been defeated.

He founded H.A.V.O.C. in secret, abducting humans and turning them into mutants to fill out his ranks. He also attempted to recruit mutants who already existed, such as the Donatello and Raphael. However, the Turtles soon discovered the sinister facts behind H.A.V.O.C. and Titanus, and quickly thwarted Titanus' scheme to transmit his mutation ray across New York.

Titanus wasted no time in striking back against the Turtles. He obtained a minor criminal that the Turtles had previously jailed, and transformed him into the energy mutant Synapse, who could distract the Turtles while H.A.V.O.C. completed Titanus' weaponized Sky Platform. However, he was again thwarted in his scheme, as the Turtles successfully disposed of Synapse and destroyed the Sky Platform.

Another problem arose when the time-traveling police officer Krakus arrived from 2066. However, his panic over Krakus did not interfere with his plans to obtain the powerful Flux Transformer, which he planned to use to bring his mutant army back from the future. He nearly succeeded, but the Turtles and Krakus successfully thwarted his plan and pushed him through the time portal. He was transported into a prehistoric era, where he vowed revenge on the Turtles, but seemed unlikely to get it.

He is voiced by Rodger Bumpass and Ronald Feinberg.
