Plot Summary
April reports that recently there has been a mysterious theft of Ninja Turtle-related memorabilia. The Turtles are puzzled by this, especially when they go to Vinnie's and learn that an autographed pizza box has been stolen as well.
When they drop April off at her apartment, they find that a burglar has ransacked the place and stolen all of the things April has from the Turtles. The Turtles chase down the culprit's truck, but just as they have him cornered, he sprays them with laughing gas and gets away.
April checks the license plate number of the burglar's truck and finds that it belongs to billionaire collector/gas-producer Monroe Q. Flem. She concludes that he's collecting Turtle memorabilia, and tells Irma to call the Turtles while she sneaks into his mansion.Unsurprisingly she is soon caught and caged by Flem, who is seeking to complete his collection. Even worse, he uses April's Turtle Com to home in on their lair.
The Turtles arrive - having found the address of Flem's mansion in April's apartment - and manage to infiltrate the mansion, where they find wax figures of all their nemeses, and various items left over from their assorted adventures. Flem takes them to April, who is confined in a cage, and he gasses them into unconsciousness before they can release her. When they wake up, April is suspended over a vat of molten wax, about to be turned into a wax figure. The Turtles manage to get up and hop over to Flem, only to be gassed again, this time by a substance that makes them frozen stiff for a period of time.
Out in the news van, Irma wakes up after a long nap and makes her way inside, finding the stiffened Turtles placed in a diorama of their lair. At Donatello's suggestion, she cranks up the heat, and the wax statues melt to reveal robots underneath. Fortunately, it also brings the Turtles to their senses.
As the Turtles are about to rescue April, Flem and his robots enter the room. The Turtles easily dispose of their robotic foes and the human henchmen, and Leonardo rescues April.
Back in the lair, they watch April reporting that Flem has been taken to a sanitarium, and Donatello confirms that the Turtle Com signals are not directed towards the lair. Leonardo and Raphael play a prank on Michelangelo using a wax replica of Splinter.

Notes
- Vinnie is animated completely differently to how he is normally drawn.
- The layout of April's apartment is completely different to how it's normally seen, plus with different colored walls, the only part of the apartment block that is seen the same is the hallway outside.
- A wax statue of Mr. Ogg from "Mr. Ogg Goes to Town" is seen, alongside wax replicas of Bebop, Rocksteady, and Leatherhead.
- Parts of the episode are reminiscent of the old Vincent Price movie House of Wax, which also was about a madman creating wax figures using living people.
Errors
- April's fanny pack is colored yellow in some parts of the episode.
- Flem orders his henchman to push "the red button," when there are at least five red buttons on display.
- Part of Shredder's wax statue is colored wrongly and doesn't have his hand gauntlets.
- Rocksteady's wax statue is missing it's right shoulder strap.
- When April was first being lowered into the wax vat, she was being hung by the front of her belt. After the commercial, she's being lowered feet-first, with her hands behind her back.
- She also is lowered several times into the vat, sometimes with multiple scenes going by without her actually touching the wax.
- When we see Flem monitoring the Turtles on his surveillance camera, his mouth did not move for the first part of the line.
- The shot of Flem complaining when his wax figures were melting was repeated after all of his robot army was destroyed.
- In the first shot of Splinter's wax figure his nose was colored brown.
- When Donatello and Raphael hold up the wax Splinter, Donatello speaks in Leonardo's voice.
- After the Turtles enter the museum, Raphael is seen with Donatello's colors.
- When the Turtles walk past the diorama of their lair, the colors of their shells are switched.
- Flem's model of Krang and Shredder's Transport Module was missing it's top tank treads.
