Usub Gerstalk is a mutant alligator featured in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness supplement, After the Bomb. Usub is one of the artifact scavenger team that includes Dwayne, Cosgrave, and Tap. Usub trusts absolutely no one and is quite dim, but is bright enough to associate himself with those he thinks are smarter than him, for his own benefit. For the time being that's Dwayne. Dwayne has instructed Usub to guard the portable computer. That means nobody is going to touch Usub's backpack without a major fight. He also absolutely hates anyone who makes fun of him. He has already decided that he will kill Cosgrave. Any other player characters who tease him will eventually be attacked.

Usub appears as a boss character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Manhattan Missions, working alongside Baxter Stockman. Due to the character's obscurity, he is often mistaken as an odd variation of Leatherhead. Though he actually predates Leatherhead by more than two years.
